Lanskip Cycle

On Wednesday, April 15th, 20h, Het Wilde Weten presents LANSKIP CYCLE, a video screening with introductory talk by Rebecca Birch and Charles Danby.

Rebecca Birch and Charles Danby present their new video work LANSKIP CYCLE. The final part of their first collaborative project, LANSKIP at HMK (Hotel MariaKapel) the work collides fragments of the artists’ individual work with footage created during their project at HMK. Constructed as a sequence of short video pieces the cycle explores the structural and visual language of landscape; colour, line and relief. Starting with their opposing approaches of collecting (Birch) and manufacture (Danby) the artists’ collaboration playfully explores new potentials for their shared interest in language and landscape.

The artists will introduce LANSKIP Cycle, provide an overview of their project at HMK (Hotel MariaKapel) and lead an open discussion after the screening.
