An autumn evening in a former nunnery. We warmly invite you to join us for a bowl of soup and to linger in the traces of Franzi Goralski’s thought figure: „Second Chapter: Spelling Smell.“ It reflects on Goralski’s current project, exploring scents and smells in (queer) spaces as a speculative journey into olfactory pasts. This is an open invitation to circulate collaboratively through questions like: What does it smell like to feel seen? What happens when you look at a photograph and I tell you the scent rubbed onto your hand is the original smell of the queer bar you see in the image? Do you believe in what you smell?

Each individual drawing within the figure contributes to a larger whole, offering insight, becoming an actor or a prop in the scenery, and passing on knowledge.

Smelling. Evaporating. Storytelling. Speculating.

The evening is a quiet celebration of new chapters and shaped by whatever you choose to bring, too.

Note: The soup is vegan and gluten-free. You’re welcome to bring something to share for the potluck.
