During the year of the Cultural Capital of Europe Ruhr.2010 six artists from Rotterdam were given the opportunity to work for one month in Marxloh, part of the industrial city of Duisburg (Germany). The exhibition brings together seven artistic approaches to the complex and transforming agglomeration of industry and habitation in Marxloh and the surrounding Ruhr area. In November 2010 the exhibition has been shown in Marxloh. 1 maand Marxloh was initiated and organized by the artists Kim Zieschang and Arnoud Schuurman. Tijdens het jaar van de culturele hoofdstad Ruhr.2010, verbleven zes kunstenaars uit Rotterdam ieder voor een maand in Marxloh, stadsdeel van de Duitse industriestad Duisburg. Voor de kunstenaars was Marxloh het uitgangspunt voor individueel onderzoek in het Ruhrgebied. De expositie brengt zeven benaderingen bij elkaar van een complexe en zich transformerende regio. In november 2010 was de expositie in Marxloh te zien. Het project werd geïnitieerd en organiseert door de kunstenaars

Im Jahr der Kulturhauptstadt Ruhr.2010 verbrachten sechs Künstler aus Rotterdam jeweils einen Monat in Marxloh, Stadtteil der Industriestadt Duisburg. Die Künstler waren eingeladen an einem künstlerischen Vornehmen zu arbeiten, das sich mit Marxloh und dem großen Rest des Ruhrgebiets befasst. Die Ausstellung zeigt sieben Betrachtungsweisen einer komplexen und sich transformierenden Region. Im November 2010 wurde die Ausstellung in Marxloh gezeigt.
